My experience - Getting an american F-1 visa in Spain
Hello!
I have such a great news to all, my F-1 visa was approved! This is the student visa that the USA embassy gives to anyone that wants to enter the USA for studying purposes. Now I'm just waiting to pick it up in my closest post office and then get ready to fly! (๑˃̵á´—˂̵)Ùˆ

I'll tell you how my story went; long story ahead, unless you are interested in how this procedure goes, you won't be really interested!
Got to Madrid, a really kind 40º heat wave welcomed me, I just wanted to get out of there really but I needed my visa.
I got to the embassy, got all my papers and I was in the list! I got there earlier than my appointment was but there was really few people and they just kept people entering despite of they hour of appointment. And I got inside the building!
First part
As you enter you have to pass a small security check, leave all your stuff in some lockers you have to enter a room with more people where another woman gives you a number and you have to wait until your number is called.
Second part
Here you have to wait inside a bigger room with more people and wait until your number appears on the little TV. It tells you what little desk you have to go, pay attention to that tv, numbers change pretty fast! Where they attend you looks a little bit like this. With an opening on the glass where you pass them the papers.
First they call you to take your papers. The I-20, Ds-160, passport, photo and prove of how are you going to pay your studies.
Then you go in line to another desk where they take your finger prints. After that you have to sit again, wait to be called and do the final interview.
I was prepared for the worst, really, I got questions prepared in case they ask me whatever related of the studies, how I'll pay it, why I decided to go there and whatever you can think about. But they just asked me two questions "What are you going to study?, How are you going to pay it?" My answer was pretty simple, they didn't ask for further details and told me my visa was aproved.
It was pretty fast and without any complication. They kept my passport and told me what paper I need if i leave the USA and I want to enter again while i'm on the visa.
And that's it. (゜-゜)
I think it was way more complicated for other people, I have the feeling that it was really easy for me
As I said before, now I'm just waiting to pick up my passport, the embassy and the post office sent me an email saying that the passport is on it's way and a tracking number to go checking it.
